Thanksgiving at Bótoa

Last thursday it was Thanksgiving at the USA.We study at english class the meaning of this celebration.We made some worksheets in the class with related vocabulary such as: pilgrim, american native,Mayflower,pumpkin pie,turkey etc.

We celebrate halloween !!👿👽💀

Last Friday 28th October we celebrated Halloween at school.It was so funny.
We read the legend of Jack 'o lantern.Then we watched some terrifying videos like "Thriller ".And then we had a little party.Some boys and girls were dressed like monsters vampires or witches.Boo ...Booo...

This year our conversation  auxiliar is Louis.He comes fron Atlanta in Georgia
(USA).He tells us many things about Coke's museum.We hope to.learn a lot of english with him!

Happy Mother Day

 This year in Bilingual Plastic pupils of 3A and B grades have made this little gift for their mothers as a symbol of love and affection.

 Materials employed have been: a heart made from EVA foam and a lollipop with  shaped heart.On the lollipop´s stick they have tied a green lace ...And finally they have wroten with a black mark this Tradicional english expression : Mum, I love you! This has been the final outcome...

 Our children were very happy because they were waiting for Mother´s Day to offer their little presents.We hope that our mothers held this day full of love and care...

And we also had the time to made a Mother Day Card with flowers....

Poem: Spring

This is the poem that we have chosen to teach  our pupils about Spring Season. They have writen it on their notebooks giving a try to learn a spring vocabulary like: bloom, buzzing, budding etc... Then we have hang the poster on our door´s classroom so that our corridor looks like more beautiful...and with spring words and colours.. It has been very easy to learn!

WORLD BOOK DAY

What is World Book Day? It´s a celebration of authors, illustrators, books and most importantly a

celebration of reading.In fact, it´s the biggest celebration of it kind, designed by UNESCO as a worldwide celebration of books and reading, and marked in over 100 countries all over the world. In England and Ireland is celebrated on 3th March while in Spain on 23th April.

The main aim of World Book Day is to encourage children and people in general, to explore the pleasure of books reading by providing them with the opportunity to have a book of their own. Because of that books are sold about 1 Euro or so on that day.

On 1st an 2nd grade we celebrated April's fool day by colouring some drawings in our english lesson.It was great!

April Fools´ Day

April Fools´Day is celebrated every year on 1 April by playing jokes and spreading hoaxes.The jokes and their victims are called April fools.
The idea is to try to trick to someone with a good- nature prank labeling them as a fool.
On this day people send april fool day jokes, messages and images also to make foolish them.

HAPPY FATHER´S DAY

 Pupils in 3th A and B grades have made these father´s day cards in plastic Bilingual.We want our children to give love and happines to their parents....It´s a cheap gift but it,s full of afecction.
